In a world of miseries, where a war that lasted a century was waged. The final outcome was inevitable.
Ba Sing Se fell, The Fire Nation won. The Last Airbender was killed in the Final battle against Phoenix King Ozai, and a new century of horrors would unfold right after.
And rewinding back one year before all this happens, a reincarnated author learns he has been reborn in an Avatar fanfiction he wrote. One doomed with a bad ending.
Here, anything and everything could and would go wrong.
The Avatar will fail, the Fire Nation will prevail, Ozai would set the whole world ablaze and the everything would fade out of existence with him in it once that happens .....
"Yeahhhh ........ No thank you. Now where the hell is option two".
And so, follow Luca as he sets out to save this world (Save himself) from imminent destruction, no matter the cost. Even if he has to drag its inhabitants into their cherished salvation, kicking, screaming and burning.

Luca finds himself reborn as a Fire Nation soldier who was branded as an accomplice of a Traitor.
He should have rotted in the dungeons for life, but Fire Lord Ozai gave him an opportunity.
Now branded as a traitor and an escaped criminal by his own people, he must strive to survive while being hunted by Earth Kingdom amd Fire Nation soldiers alike to complete a difficult task in order to clear his name.
Meanwhile, striving to complete an even more difficult task to make sure the world he finds himself in doesn't fade out of existence.

I've learned from the mistakes of my last fic and created a new one with much more intrigue and promise.
As long as you don't hate ATLA in general, then you're gonna love it.
This isn't going to be an Overpowered FF at the start but gradual strengthening.
