No. Beasts can just power up as much as they want because their own body tells them what to do and they develop with will to get strong since they were born but humans have intelligence, even if their body tells them to do something humans won't listen to, like, alcohol is bad for health but humans drink it. so through human evolution, their body grew with their intelligence factored in. this means their body is most complex and has potential beyond any creature in the world but they use their intelligence for something else rather than improving their given body. Human intelligence is their weakness and power and most humans use it in terms of weakness in this story world.
