Nice story, though the mc is irritatingly kind, the characters are interesting and world building is done in a good manner. And seeing he chose a lethal weapon in ch7 I hope he will become ruthless and decisive as that's what detectives are supposed to be. Overall it is a good story with GREAT potential, definitely adding it in my library!!
