The chapter is what it is. Any edits after release will happen within 24 hours. After that, I see no reason to expend any more effort. After all, a lot of love went in to the process up to that point. To go back and painstakingly edit, after doing the painstaking labor BEFORE release, edits and reads and internalizing… it’s a bit much. I’d rather let it be. You’ll understand as a fellow author. You get so much hate and people that clown on your writing. At the same time, you get a bunch of love. Thus, what is the difference between the love and hate? The answer is nothing. Readers have their own opinion. You have your own opinion. Therefore, I don’t pay too much mind into being perfect. You offer good points. No doubt this story would perhaps benefit from your feedback. And no doubt the story will benefit from me ignoring you. All I can do is LOVE and APPRECIATE your thoughtful comment, and take it however I can. In the perfect world, I do so with intelligence and empathy and with the goal of self improvement. However, the chances of me doing that, is the same chance of a reader like yourself leaving such a thoughtful comment. But as a fellow author, I’m sure you already know how rare such comments are. Dude was wrongfully imprisoned, killed the first step he took outside. Gets reincarnated after not wanting to come back, all because some happy go lucky voice in the darkness annoyed him to the point of doing so. Idk who you are to the the arbiter of correct behavior, but if we use a bit of humanity here, we might find room in our heart to give the man a pass LOL

Yeah, Rhaenar’s early years weren’t the most well received. The idea was to make him super flawed so that there could be character development. However, I might have leaned too hard on the flaws, causing him to trigger readers with his childishness despite reincarnation, entitled/sad boi attitude, overly artistic vibes, and so on. It gets better, but I won’t blame you for any misgivings. I mainly vibe with geopolitics and lore. These early days were mere housekeeping
