It's rather lighthearted so far, what with the MC being stronger than even the average New World pirates, and there's also quite a bit of canon divergence due to the MC not really giving a shit about it other than if it's something related to his crewmates. Writing quality is meh, but it's not too bad, still quite enjoyable to read through. So yeah, definitely give this a try if you're interested.

Ehh, it's not like they need a flamboyant name to induce fear and awe wherever they go. They're named the Straw Hat Pirates because of Luffy's moniker, after all. Besides, I feel like renaming would take away from what the crew is about, which is that they're all dreamers or people with ambitions, and the straw hat is symbolic of that because it's a promise from Luffy that he'll fulfill his dream.

It seems like it's gonna be a hard-fought battle for Luffy, which I'm glad for. He hasn't had such a hard battle ever since he fought against two admirals at once, and he's only gotten stronger since then.
