I know, the timelines don't match up. they're actually wildly different than what happened historically speaking. It was a creative decision I made when planning out the story. Take into account that magical beings existed throughout all of human existence (in the story). Their presence and actions had an effect on the world. It's hinted at based on the general mistrust everyone has for wizards and witches, particularly with kings, queens, etc.

i can confirm that's not happening. Harry and Hermione will strictly be friends in this story, and relationships are a long way off, possibly 3rd or even fourth year
