Naruto: My Ninjutsu is Just Average
The ninja world, spanning all four directions, has witnessed over fifty large-scale wars throughout history. Right and wrong, truth and falsehood—these are hard to untangle. Yet historians unanimously note that it was on those ancient battlefields that the rise and fall of countless ninja clans were decided. Thus, since time immemorial, the saying has held true: “The victor becomes king, the vanquished a mere bandit.”
Back in the day, the First Hokage led the skilled ninja of Konoha, splitting his forces into three prongs to converge on the Land of Fire. Marching north with righteous might, he waged war against the Hidden Rock, Hidden Sand, and Hidden Cloud, securing a resounding victory! On the very next day, with the restoration of the Land of Fire’s entirety, the other nations saw the tide had turned irretrievably against them and surrendered one after another.
Thirty years ago, I set out from the Hidden Leaf Village, embarking on the Second Great Ninja War. With nothing more than ordinary ninjutsu, I conquered every foe in my path. Wherever I went, the people welcomed me with open hearts. Truly, I had seized the favor of heaven itself! That vibrant vitality, that realm where all things vied to burst forth in splendor—it still lingers before my eyes.
I don’t understand why everyone keeps talking about Uchiha Madara being trapped in the Valley of the End, as if this ancient battlefield of the ninja world has doomed us to calamity.
Could it be that, in a mere thirty years, this place has transformed into my burial ground?
