It's not every day you encounter something of this quality around the platform. The prose is satisfactory, the characters are quite relatable. The pacing could do some work. A few grammar errors here and there. Writing cliches are around, but they're fine for this genre, I guess. Keep writing!

It's a refreshing twist to what I usually am suggested. Most of what I read on the platform is fantasy but this is something else. It's not my typical genre but boy was I hooked!

The characters and worldbuilding are quite interesting. There are some clunky dialogue, pacing, a few grammar mistakes, but they can be easily remedied. Overall, it's a good book for a newbie author.

Just in case I give the wrong impression. I do not consider myself to be anywhere near as good as Brandon Sanderson or his contemporaries. I'm a fan, so I "patterned" my story after his works. That is all ☺️

It's my first story but I've been holding on to this idea since I was 12 years old and now I'm finally getting it out there. I would appreciate any form of support. It's getting interesting. John is so OP. No sign of any major villain yet though, so we can't really make an accurate comparison of his power levels against the other powered beings 🤔

Why did I just imagine Goku and Vegeta during their first fight? When Vegeta turned ape? 🤔

So we have three guardians and four or five (counting Sasha) potential protagonists. It's supposed to be Earth but completely feels like a different world.

So wait... he reincarnated into a dead body in the game? That's new. And is the mayor a villain? he sounds like one.. I can see the secretary to be a love interest. This is getting interesting 😁

Great start! Getting powers from a dream or the main character thinks it's a dream is something I haven't seen tried yet. John is every bit the character I always wanted to be. Looking forward to the subsequent chapters :)

I always thought of this kind of opening. Guess I won't be using this for portal fantasy any time soon :D Getting powers from a dream. Cool concept. Can't wait for what's next?
