This bothers me a lot. we keep going back and forth with Lith alternating between a little kid no one believes and someone respected for their ability. He's a great mage who has proven his abilities countless time. He's both a Ranger in the army and a member of the mage association. He is pivotal for this investigation. Then these guys show up and treat him like a stranger? and a criminal at that? He needs to immolate that great mage and put everyone in their place, immediately. Seriously, this is dumb.
