Feel like dropping it here at chp 388 (MTL-ing raw) even though the premise/plot is exactly the type that interests me. Imagine the kind of stuff you can learn in 999 years, you're basically invincible. I like OP MCs and for sure prefer ancient to modern transmigration/rebirth rather than modern to ancient. What I don't like and can't stand is the overly nationalistic nature of the story. As is common with a lot of Cnovels, China is the best, everyone else is either jealous of them or looks down on them (and then gets their faces slapped for looking down on them). It's always China against the world, the good guys against the bad guys. As I said, it's definitely not uncommon to see this "china is the best" rhetoric in Cnovels but this is one of those novels where it's really strong and it's getting tiring for me to have it thrown in my face so much so often. I'm not at that part of the story yet, but I can guess what happened/happens. [Spoiler] Some people don't want China to be powerful so they travel thru time/space to 300 years before the start of the story to destroy the then ruling dynasty and take away the cultural heritage. This is the main mystery to be solved and this is my guess as to what happened. And you will keep reading things like "imagine if the catastrophe did not happen 300 years ago, how much more powerful would the country be by now" or something like that. Seriously, I come across a rare time-loop FMC and they give me this nationalism nonsense. And this is really a big part of the story because the MC's goal is to restore the lost cultural heritage (embroidery, opera, guqin, ancient medicine, etc etc) so there's A LOT of praising china's heritage. Thus even though I do like the story, this aspect is making me not wanna continue reading. If anyone has completed the novel you can spoil it for me to let me know if I guessed correctly about the time/space travel. If anyone has any recommendations for time-loop FMC stories please let me know. I have already read "I repeated the same day for 500 years" and it was nice but had a disappointing ending.
Outsiders should be transported out of the territory while only residents get transported to prison right? Otherwise outsiders might get information from bad apples in the prison. Surely Althea wouldn't have overlooked this detail when planning the rules
We alr know human beings suck. We don’t need to constantly be shown how ppl are horrible. Can you tone it down on the bad guys having fun? I am more interested in Althea and gang developing their village and coming up with new stuff. I mean when it comes to other villages wars and horrible stuff, just tell and don’t show. That would be fantastic thanks
I thought he made a deal with her to let him go with his stuff and not empty handed? Or was that only weapons? I feel like he would have made sure he left with some money
Is there no follow up to the construction company’s director song’s attempted sabotage?
Where is the guy always leaving the “First” comment? First
