For uploading a video? Seems a bit strange considering he has no quarrel with murdering dozens of people on the daily to increase his and his coven's power.

It would be interesting to think that the reason he hated the web novel was because his 'true' self was portrayed as nothing more than an insignificant minor antagonist. I would like to think that something at his 'core' had an aversion to the story that showed through even without any former memory or attachment to it.
