There's no such thing as 'too much fluff'!😌

This would have received a solid 4 or even 4,5 rating from me but the translation quality had to sink down to the depths of Pacific Ocean from around ch. 41, there is no capitalization, no punctuation, genders goes haywire, like I've read better MTLs than this! Totally destroyed what could have otherwise been a novel with good plot; yes, it is clichéd, but I loved the execution which is mostly what matters in these novels with more or less the same plot structure.
I really really like the plot and the writing style, but after around ch 850 the translation gets so bad that reading the novel equals to heavily editing it in your mind... otherwise I would have given this a 4.5 rating!
Uhmmm...so her face, her hands as well as her legs all were permanently injured.😨 How did she survive even after all these?🤔
Like the other books of the series, I quite liked this one too. However the translation quality goes down from around ch600. Also, unlike Yan Beicheng's or Qi Chengzhi's stories, this one is more focused on face slapping than romance. Though the romance that is there is fluffy and the mc and ML do have chemistry. Overall, I think I liked this book just a little less than the other two of the series.
Before ch.600 the translation quality was so good. Why the sudden drop in tn quality, names are being haphazardly changed, pronouns are interchanged and sometimes even the sentence structure is so incorrect that the meaning becomes something out of context. I was enjoying the story, really disappointed with this dip in tn quality.
The plot of the story itself is quiet good, at least it's not as cringey as many other stories on Webnovel. However the translation quality after ch. 300 destroys the entire reading experience. Names are swapped, pronouns are interchanged from she to he, from they to you, overall the grammar is soo bad that once it meant as if the FL is going to give birth to her grandfather (ch.371). I wouldn't have criticised the translation so much, had the novel been a free read, but when you have to pay literal money to read such trashy translations, it feels really annoying.😡 Expected better from a platform like Webnovel, though the recent translation quality just keeps disappointing.
The entire novel struck as plain...none of the characters had any depth and though the plot was interesting, don't know whether if it's due to the original writing or the translation, the narration of the events felt flat. Basically, the entire novel is based on a repetitive cycle of mc letting others smear her reputation or her talents for a while, and then the mc getting revenge...nothing more, nothing less. I think cuz I've read too many of these novels...honestly, I was struggling to go on reading after chapter 200. Generally, I love Mary Sue MCs, but here the female MC, Chu Luo's character was so one-dimensional, that it felt kind of boring. The ML or the supporting characters too were of little interest. Overall, this novel is another one with those super op mcs, but where the cliche is not done well so much so that even the dialogues seem repetitive, thus may appear tedious to binge-readers.
Overall a good story with equally powerful fl and ml. Though the story is mostly conventional like other stereotypical Mary Sue novels, it does sometimes break away from conventions and even the clichés are done right. The number of chapters are also just right for the plot... neither dragging the ending nor leaving any questions unanswered. The supporting characters are also nicely drawn. Highly enjoyable for readers of novels like Ma'am you have been uncovered.
All the best![img=recommend]
