Actually i think ,it's the spear,it's because it has a short to mid range reach and can also be favoured to blockattacks from your back .it can also be used for one time throw attacks and is almost unbeatable in close combat if mastered completely,the problem with spear is that it takes up a lot of space to carry and will drain you stamina pretty fast since it's heavy as well.pretty much no disadvantages if you are going to war.
