Well lol I guess that one way to curb the conversation. Have a God possess you..I guess for once it can be considered a blessing after all. Maybe Van Djik will consider Ludwig more meaningful then just a test subject but someone who he can maybe contact and Necros again? Probably a very optimistic hope but when your crazy, nothings outrageous anymore. Also, is he a literal vampire? I don't remember any descriptions so far that would point to him being a vampire. Black tower has all sorts of creatures. I wonder if any other towers would be so accepting of such "darker races like Succubus, Skeletons and Now a Vampire in its ranks.
Hmm this will be interesting to see how lidwig gets out of practicing necromancy. A normal student should have no way to to summon anything and likely Jill themselves in an attempt. Even seasoned practitioners like the 2 people who raised Ludwig ultimately failed in making a golden opportunity in the form of Ludwig anything more then a simple skeleton. How could he, a simple, if talented student, possibly grasp the ability to not only raised the dead, but still lived? Not to mention that it's forbidden and outlawed. Also loved the outburst of the students. It showed that they are, at the end of the day, teenage kids, and not military robot stoically ending a mission but show proper expression of trauma they have experienced. This excursion was probably their first life of death situation. Snapping whatever childish thoughts or expierences and showing them the harshness of life. Really interested in seeing the debolopment of the seconding characters and not just Ludwig. I personally would even encourage some non main story chapter the focus on secondary characters to flesh out the world more.
Oh thanks good to know I'm not being super annoying with an entire thesis everytime. yeah I'm hooked and if I don't comment it's definitely not because lack of interest.
So far I'm this it's interesting to see just how gullible to for the majority of the nobles to just fall in line with those of a higher status for those that are on equal status or are more independent or whatever. On one hand, it's kinda cliche, but on the other, for kids who are thrown into a situation like this and are terrified to the core of dying, they will take any savior. It makes you wonder just what kind of clout Brons family has and what kind of family or background of those that resist the power of groupthink and manipulation. Im also curious about the status of the champion after all that's happened so far between the 2 undead since 1 of the is continuously biting it's neck still i think?
Ironic. For all his criticism of his mother, he decided to down the same path of pursuing power using questionable methods. Definitely warcriminal path.
Poor choice. if his rationale is with Mech points in mind why would he choose Demoncasting? If a Demon casted weapon isn't going to further his design philosophy nearly as much as 5 elements. And if the idea is to make them like the heavensword, then your just making weapons that might not even cooperate with the wielder or might take over the wielder instead. Just because it's an not well known technique does not mean it's better.
I would choose dimension no question. The demonic sounds interesting, but to me, it sounds like a steroid or a performance enhancing drug. Sure it's may great temporary power, but in the long term, you'll probably pay dearly. Ves thinking that he just needs to be vigilant to the inevitable corruption is neive at best and insanely arrogant at worst. The 5 element boost is that most stable out of the options. And to me the dimension has the most potential but might also have risks sense you don't know what's in there.
That's actually super ironic because her entire ability and flaw is that she can't be stable. Wow that's really poetic much respect there
I think it's definitely a component at least. From my observation as a reader, going to the dream realm is a defeat to her. She fears the Dream realm but also hates it for what it did to her family and that life she could have had if it did not exist. She can't fathom the idea to abandon her kingdom. But the problem is, is that the ruler doesn't decide where the kingdom is. The people do.
Hmmm from reading Shadow Slave and now getting Nobles reaction to the turn from earth to the dream realm, she is underestimating the power and pull of the soveriegns and overestimating the power of humanity on earth I think. It'd interesting that while she remembers running when she's little but she seems to think its just magically stop now that she's older. It would be different if the government had a soveriegn of their own and was able to stop the chain of nightmare in Antarctica but they don't. My take is that it sounds like she's masking her unwillingness to change, not out of love for the family but unresolved personal trauma.
