I will ignore the system being nerfed part, and simply talk about the Shadow Monarch being nerf... I'm pretty sure in chapter one it was said it was nerfed but with far better potential. I don't remember this skill revving someone who had no mana, I don't think that could be done without the full power of the Monarch. That's what the wiki says, the fact you pulled up the wiki and didn't even fact-check your own words is beyond me. "Shadow Extraction can't be used on targets who are spiritual in nature, such as the Rulers and the Monarchs." That's also from the wiki, I saw nothing that said that it works on the soul. I believe it targets the shadow, since when I last checked, souls don't have shadows. By chapter 15, the Shadow Monarch is already if not stronger than the Shadow Monarch seen in part 1 of the anime.
