It was considered a show of great respect and trust if a Samurai allowed you to touch and see his sword. It was considered a part of thier soul and it meant the Samurai allowed you to see thier soul. It was an act that showed a close relation, an intimate one especially if it was to a woman.

Took me a bit, but I got it.
Our experience time at school, the future, and how we were the ones that would be shaping it. That this was just one chapter in our lives and that the new chapter would now begin. As I said it was a pretty standard speech with a few semi-decent jokes incorporated into it.

Hestia also is gods of the hearth I believe, so that’s likely a reason it was suggested, then chosen.
The final member of the Eevee Quartet decides to go with one of my suggestions. She seemed to like Hestia the most among the 25 names I presented, and considering that Hestia was Bestia, I was happy with her choice. Really, going by the original Greek mythology and most of the fictitious story based on that, Hestia was always the best/nicest Greek deity, so she deserved all the love she could get.
