I know a lot are complaining about the instant transmission or the low profile, but I'm reading this for the DB and other worlds, not some highschool drama. if the time he sleeps vs the time in the tower world is 1:1 he's going to get next to nothing done, like ever. if he only has 8 hours, assuming the world around him doesn't continue on, or even if it does, 8 hours isn't enough time to do anything. he's not nearly strong enough to sense ki from outside a planet, so idk how he plans to leave cereal, and if he did so with another ship, it'd take him weeks to get anywhere. without some sort of time dilation, it'll be months before he's even on earth, much less how long it'll take him to get strong enough to fight freeza.
If zhao tries to kill the water spirits as he did in the anime, I'm not sure which I'm more afraid of, aang going into avatar state at a much more mature age, or shishui absolutely losing his shit.
I'm genuinely confused by some of these reviews. I'm not convinced we read the same book. The book is well written, few errors, the system exists but, at least so far, isn't overly used. My main concerns with this novel are the length of the chapters, they're god awful short and a lot of them could be cut out and you'd miss nothing of importance, and the hesitance of the MC. The dude has an unbreakable weapon that levels with him, got a massive boost to his body and mind from item pulls (which didn't affect his stats? I'm guessing hidden because system even though both hestia and hephistus could tell something changed?) He won't even go passed the first floor, he's supposed to be bell but with more resources, smarter, and knowledge, yet the dude stays on the first floor because he doesn't want attention drawn to him. no one cares about a level 1 adventurer, and no one is paying attention to you on the top floors of the dungeon, why is it when he hears there's a bunch of monsters spawning below the first floor he ignores it? He can't in one chapter say he wants to get stronger and beat the one eyed black dragon, but in the next be like, "well I can only spend 15 minutes in the dungeon because people will know." WHO?!? there's no one up there, and the ones that are don't care about you. Anyway, this story is makes slow burns look smoking fast.
shishui needs a serious powerup. or at least, I'd like to understand where he stands. he's an enlightened one, trained the avatar, is a sage, brought waterbending to heights no one even thought of, and is learning blood bending, but the spirits think a bunch of random angry humans are going to hurt him? I enjoy drama and the build as much as the next guy, but I'd like to have some idea of where he is or what he's truly capable of, and see these people dream sends after him get wrecked like they should.
This seems forced and super early, no? the things in the tower don't count as kills for the normal world, or limbo as they're in now. he's killed one dude who tried to stab him and rob or do worse to someone. Like, Raven and now constantine pushing their morals onto the guy when he's had literally one fight they've seen is just stupid. not to mention, her little companions aren't saints, why isn't she throwing them into limbo? robins killed, cyborgs killed, beasboys killed, the only titan who hasn't, at least on purpose I think would be starfire. She just seems WAY to interested in him for him having done one thing and trained the rest of the time she could see him.
I hope you feel better author. take your time and be happy with what you've created so far, it is genuinely the only avatar fanfic I've read that I find myself checking every day if there's a new chapter and jumping on as soon as there is. also check out scps that should never be released by the scp explained channel on youtube, great video.
can we take a moment to respect the flex of inviting agni himself to watch over the agni kai?
so you turned him from a cripple to a vampire ancestor, made him still low level, and the. crippled him again? why?
The thought of when he meets vaatu, him being like, "yo, it wasn't me, that other guys an idiot" and shisui just laughing at whatever idiot provoked him. I mean, there are implications to the spirits themselves being able to feel when he's angry and the world responding by others being able to feel that aura. If he can do that now, imagine what he can do by the time the rift appears and the spirit world is more aligned with the mortal one. absolutely loving this book so far, please feel better and if you need to take time to rest, do so, as I'd rather you do that than being sick cause you to resent working on this book and dropping it or something.
so he got back from danmachi, where he did whatever the hell he wanted, then suddenly became a beta to this chick? I thought the whole point was for him to live how he wants, this literally goes against everything he's been doing this entire book.
