While that is the case, much of the space in computers is "taken up" by cooling systems that are a side effect of electrical resistance rapidly heating up densely packed electrical components, particularly in processors and dense microchips/microprocessors.If you could removed the need to space parts out for the sake of heat management, you could easily make computers faster by just folding things up or routing and placing things in a true 3-D space rather than spacing it out on modular 2-d planes with air gaps and fans or heat sinks and coolant pumps. Superconductors tend to be finicky to produce even if you have the materials because the universe tends to dislike the idea of electrons not heating things when they flow through them.
Definitely, but it could be some 1st rate master or even senior making a diploma mill due to how important teaching becomes at the higher levels. It would hardly cost them anything to do as a first rater could probably buy everything needed to pump out 3rd rate seniors enmass with the proceeds from a few first class mechs. It makes sense if it means you get to uplift some students into 2rd rate masters with minimal effort, gaining soft power over the states they would become powerhouses in as well as the high level pilots they would influence.
The crown is doing some work...
The thing I see them fail to consider again and again is how their foundation will react. It doesn't matter if they gain the ability to negotiate if nearly every other major power takes this as a chance to remove the legitimacy of their faction and try to wipe them out as "traitorous cowards". I'm sure the other factions will be able to spin far more palatable plans for humanity's survival.
Probably, but I'm curious as to how much raw information they get every time they teleport him. If they log the process of moving each and every piece of him and can recreate most of the raw data saved in his brain and implant, then there really isn't a good way to keep his many secrets other than moving all of his core and secretive memories into his soul itself and making that into an information fortress.
That implies the MTA has far better "psionic" tech than they used to just a few years earlier and have decided to include it in not just his ship, but in the sensors of a "mid-teir" first class terran school auditorium.
You mean a class that requires an extremely energy intensive projection system during a fight that requires your flagship to be using energy to support several shields and superdrive maneuvers? One where you're supposed to be assisting your clan by pulling off spiritual shenanigans and providing intel analysis and technically advice? Seems like a great idea.
Wait... DEMON
I hope the kids find out so they can be just the smuggest little children
Ya, know, the thing about light is that it seems to bounce off of things like and object, and even glass or water distorts and refracts it. I wonder if someone could think up an experiment to show that light has mass and is thus just a bunch of very small particles.
