Author literally just said that there were 2 from India. Apparently nobody bothers with proofreading anymore.

What does the author mean by nightwear? Is it an evening gown, pajamas, or a bodysuit (like spies, thieves, and assassins seem to favor)? Because that changes the entire mood.
Explain to me how to be high profile and low key at the same time.
A javelin? Are they saying that he's long and thin, skinny as a pole? I'm confused about what the author wants to convey exactly.
How did he know? Author goes into detail on things that could be explained through the storytelling process and then just skips over this.
