hmm your idea is fresh but as an author you would then have to expand on details like what quests, objectives or achievement your main character should achieve to get rewards, what If on the long run he gets injured in the plot (even tho we all know mc's dont get injured due to plot armor), so as an author you would have to introduce mall items, mc could still buy overpowered skill modules along with it match experience or op items so in the long run its just the same as in the template football fanfics we see today, but compared to template systems, this is much more slow in progression depending on whether the mc can accumulate mall coins aka system coins to spend on the mall quick

i dont think there is even a level that would let you be stronger than arceus much less full powered top legendaries unless you are cheating. some champions like cynthia, steven and leon can hold their own against top legendaries in lore but only stall them. our mc has a system yet for almost 500 chapters i havent seen anything of what it can do aside from providing maps to look for ancient coins for gimmighoul. so far red and blue isnt even canon in this fanfic so i don't think red being the strongest pokemon trainer exist here. therefore i dont think there is even a single trainer who can solo a top legendary much less become a god level trainer like achieving strength comparable to lvl100 in pokemons games

since i was genuinely confused, i look it up and it says in 1v1 format, 3 pokemons can be brought in a battle but only 1 is chosen to battle ending the battle if the chosen pokemon faints so the battle is fast paced but in a singles battle it can be slow most of the time relying on team synergy or tactics coz often it covers a 3v3 or 6v6 pokemon battle or some unofficial format there is a 2v2 or 4v4 pokemon battle

then why not just say 6v6 for using 6 pokemon in a singles battle?
