most books nowadays tend to be too heavy handed about the harem angle. Teasing the idea of it without actually going the full blown harem route would kinda be refreshing.

I like the story, but feel like I'm wading through a river of info dumps. Why not try putting the ships and other spec's in the Auxiliary so the readers may puruse at their leisure.
