So far the story is good👍 I was perusing through a lot of second chance/ transmigration/ rebirth novels.. Here- I really don't think that the ML doesn't know about acerbic nature of gossips and rumours , being the village chief's son and someone who's smart, in a good position etc. And the MC need not put up with those vile words and risk affecting her mother's already fragile, self-deprecating and depressed state of mind, especially when they are not even a couple . In the next few chapters, I hope to see a high EQ, or atleast who can communicate well and doesn't put herself at an obvious disadvantage . So far she is steady and mature and does not fall for the ML immediately 👍👍

Really liked the novel...Until I saw reborn Lu Yun and Shitou's conversation ... It's really awkward to see a person with mental age of 30s being tricked by a teen... Especially when she was supposed to be a billionaire entrepreneur ... Smart, underwent a lot of struggles, tragedies ... But losing to a kid is kind of stupid ig? Not exactly losing ..
