In the modern era, most of the humans have forgotten the great sacrifices of their ancestors which were essential for the survival of humanity against the creatures of darkness.
And yet, there exists groups of people who continue to carry out the sacred duty of their ancestors to protect their fellow humans from the shadows, sacrificing their lives and identities to fight against creatures of all kinds of foul creatures that would prey on humans.
This is the story of such people, of demon slayers and demon knights.
