I'm gonna be honest with you: it's not great. It got noticibly better but still not great.Problem is that I've seen a lot worse so can't say you're doing bad job (especially considering fact that it keeps getting better).I'd say now main problem is descriptions for things happening. In places they don't feel like part of same text and in others they have weird perspective shift that makes them sound just as out of place but for different reasons. And the story is fine (seen worse, done worse). This kind of power fantasy is refreshing every once in a while in a world where it's all super serious harem/romance/cultivation combo aimed at most mindless (and sadly most numerous) audience possible or a clownshow written with intent of being serious and failing miserably at every step. And a lot of those stories are fine, but how many times you can read another against-the-odds-grimdark-full-of-suffering stories can you read in a row? That's literally THE reason why SI power fantasy been the only stuff i read lately, especially when it comes to cyberpunk fanfics (there is only so many times I'm ready to see how dreadful authors can make that world to make the bubble of relative happiness around their characters seem nicer).
Upload schedule is a lie but damn the quality is so worth it. Humans being humans for (however many times we were at this already?), arrogant idiots trying to force the "tool" they just upgraded to work within old parameters and it all resulting in dragon mommy isekai™. Wonder if MC will get to actually talk rather than force telepathy down everyone's throat? -Content-starved degenerate
The obvious solution (although still not perfect) would be putting up the screening option that doesn't allow people with accounts too new or without connected phone number to join.Or you can have nanomancer situation where even at over 1.2k users it's somehow still not a problem.
Right now I have exactly one author who updates daily with good quality and best I can say about that: not sure if he is human. Which isn't helped by fact that he's updating two works each day with chapters about 1.5-2.5k long. Don't make us question how human you are if you don't get paid for this enough to not have any other source of income.
Starcraft reference/10
Is it perfect? No. It shouldn't be. If it was, there would be some fundamental problems with our universe or the author wouldn't be human (good news for all involved, I guess?). Is it good? Certainly. Nice change of pace and character from the original of "stumbling into success and harem, that shall never be touched, by being a naive idiot". Am I content-starved to come asking for more? To poke author for updates? To demand for a warning in case work is dropped, and I shall kill my last hope for this platform and humanity? Absolutely! Glad to know all the brain damage this site causes is worth going through for at least one more good work.
This is why we can't have nice things... Out of 23 decent fanfics I've stumbled upon in last 3 month only 5 are still updating. All pthers stopped over a year ago with promise that they will not be dropped. Wonder if that's a coincidence or there is some evil plot to starve people of content?
So that was a lie...
I guess I'll just follow list of things to rate webnovel gives for this? Writing quality isn't perfect. And if it was, I'd be questioning if author is human or intends this work to be seen by humans. But it's not while being more than good enough. I know exactly one person who makes stable updates (even worse - daily (even worse for two different works)). That person is questionably human, to my understanding does it for living and is people's writer if you know your tags of preference. The story is great, even if pacing is a bit of a mess. Not much I can add there. Can't complain about character design, but have a question. Wouldn't Royal Fortune (the one from Azur Lane) be a better choice for "looks along the lines"? Rory to me seems a lot more serious than Misha was so far (44 chapters by webnovel's counter), while Royal Fortune is just chaotic enough in both character and looks. Also, that smile... World background is good enough to almost make me go read original again (something I swore not to do after being forced to read it in a different language for homework back in middle school (for context: I didn't hate the series themselves, although stopped enjoying them entirely about 4 books in)). Hope that says enough. Content-starved degenerate was here
