I dropped it, not because it was bad but because of how long the simulation is, i'm almost 50 chapters in and the introductory simulation is still going with no sign of ending anytime soon! When i read it was a simulation novel i thought: "Well, Fate has like a thousand female characters (the only thing i know about Fate) so the simulations won't be crazy long.." and hey, nothing wrong with doing less characters but longer sims, just not my thing. Still, it got me hooked even though i knew next to nothing about the lore or story, i have to admit that simulation novels seem like a good read if you want to learn stuff from a certain anime/games, well done.
The idea is pretty interesting, but the execution isn't. After reading the title you might think that the crippled wife would be the main point of the story, but no, she goes to the background as soon as the mc gets a power up, and from that point the story devolves into your average dungeon/gate grinding novel with her becoming a side quest so he can just keep grinding rewards. Also having top tier enemies watching over them makes it so you can't even get excited about any reward because the power gap is just that big.
Alright enough is enough, i gave it a chance but nothing is happening The novel slams you with massive walls of text that say nothing, the mc is supposed to be this mysterious figure and the author keeps hyping him up but when it comes to fighting the dude is just throwing stuff up to see if something sticks, massive red flag.
Female lead novel under the Male lead category Female lead novel under the Male lead category Female lead novel under the Male lead category and also yurislop.
The mc let his mother get beaten by a maid and humiliated by some young masters just because he was too dumb to come up with a reason to make her leave the town/village, also the grammar is so bad it's unbearable. No.
Best girl
Not a template system, the mc literally becomes the character he pulls on the gacha and takes their identity, weirdest decision i've seen in a template novel.
Novel for underage edgelords who fail to understand that indiscriminate killing doesn't make an extremely poorly written main character look cool, smart or interesting, it's just childish. This is the kind of slop we get thanks to reverend turdsanity, a novel so bad it ruined future generations of writers.
The first 50-60 chapters were really enjoyable, it had some fun, a little bit of action here and there, some romance (kinda ish) and then there's second best MHA girl Toga getting the spotlight, overall the novel started with lots of potential. But at some point red flags started appearing one after another, like limiting the number of quirks the mc can steal just so he can struggle against noname randos, (remember the cultivation novel "foundation" excuse some authors used to slow down the pace? it's here but he calls it bloodline ascension), OC spam, the best MHA character was tied to a genshin npc for whatever weird reason and last but not least shipping. I'll remember this novel as the only MHA fic that didn't instakill Toga.
Man this novel is so incredibly addicting, it's been a while since i've read a novel so fun and worth binge reading, feels good. Amazing job.
