Well.. he picked by ROB for entertainment and sure.. he did a good job being one. I'm pretty sure OP and gary stu mc won't entertaining, so far that even ROB take effort to erase his memory of previous life. We are already thought about this, Azazel certainly will ask more phenex tears supply and stuff that I will plan to reveal later. Asking to engaged both of them also part of detail, and thats also reason why Lord Phenex didn't ask "what benefit on us if we agree your request?" since he know he actually in disadvantage. He even said at the end of chapter, hope cooperation between fallen angel and his family to mend the problem between them. From previous chapter Azazel already said his faction would raid their manor directly on underworld because what Riser did after all. Azazel know, politically they are already winning, but since he will ask to engaged both of their children here, he wouldn't want to make their new allies on much disadvantage.

But atleast it would increase the tension between devil and fallen angel. Phenex also supplier of Phenex tears, one of most popular commodity on supernatural world.. And certainly their family could use their influence to affect fallen angel. (like refuse to sell the tears to faction if they somehow still cooperate with fallen angel).
