That's rich mr "what if the deadric lords placed me here with malicious intentions! O.o"...
For me, that would have been when I realized I was in the HP world, a wizard about to go to Hogwartz to learn under Flitwick and the rest, and that I was the Dragonborn. For him however, I doubt that would be the case.
Or it was weathering thousands of years that the others didn't, without having the demigod status of Alduin. I'm gonna bet on that.
Idd, a waste of time for the most part. He should just carve out his own little corner of the world, relax and work on what interests him.
Yeeees... But this is also seemingly good for him. So perhaps it's actually just good for him regardless. It's just him in an improved state, with his emotions in check. Something to strive for.
In other words, Flitwick's attempt to give him some perspective should have mattered far more than this.
I'm sorry to say I pretty much think so. What he needed was the wisdom, the logic and the perspective to see through the fallacies of what was keeping him down. Courage is but a byproduct of wisdom and motivation in my opinion. There's recklessness ofc, but there's really nothing good about it. Yet it can help you move forward, but you're then doing so blindly, taking huge and usually pointless risks. Sometimes it's necessary to take risks and be a little reckless - But I do not consider that brave per se, it's merely realizing that such has become your best option, ergo it's wisdom and logical reasoning.
Actually no, Dumbledore liked to use it for exactly that reason. Because you could remove memories from your head using it. If it could simply copy memories as well, I don't know. But it could certainly be used to contain the original memories.
Stop looking for some sort of magical fountain of endles motivation. You're interested in it? Good! Pursue it. If you can keep at it for months without tiring of it, it's not fickle, and may outright grow into a full on obession, but it does not need to be.
Yes, he feels more like the immature brat that he actually is. One who has not learned how to deal with either his emotions, or the pitfalls of logical philosophy. This does however sadly do nothing to help me relate to him. It only makes me want to speak to him for 5min, to get him out of that wasteful state of mind.
Yes it is. We change all the time, what's not easy, is to direct that change in accordance with how you wish to see yourself change. And that is why you should work for it, not waste time and energy fretting about it. Thinking about it is fine, fretting about it is useles and counter-productive. I decided that I wanted to change at 12-13. And I achieved exactly what I wanted with that. Or I should say, changed exactly the way I wanted. I pondered it at length, and then implemented it. I did not fully understand the price of those changes, but I did achieve them. So I lived and learned, and when I was disatisfied with someone of the consequences, I worked to change some aspects again. You are constantly changing, change is easy. It's trying to steer that's hard.
PS. I get that you're depressed, but LOGIC! Please!
Why would you think so? Molag Bal could not make you Dragonborn, it's not within his power to grant that abiltiy to mortals. At most he may have sent you there, but why would he grant such a boon to one of Akatosh's chosen? Makes little enough sense. Unless you were originally destined for the world of Elder Scrolls. In which case you were merely forced on a detour, one with interesting sights and ppl.
Krillin is more like "motivational/moral support" for the most part. But we needed him dying on Namek to make Goku go ape on Freeza/Freiza. As I recall though, her father could have done the same no problem. Ofc, without Bulma, we wouldn't know her father, so there's that.
We obviously did not read the same paragraph. And, he has twisted most every original event so far - All in ways to try and show-off, only to come off as cringey.
Even if I didn't accept the quest, I'd still do it.
That is still a real risk, but considering both the rewards of the quest, and the value in saving Sasuke? Worth it.
Nonsense, with the right sort of secret information included(immortality jutsu, impure world resurrection, plans for Sasuke, maybe even a mention of Itachi's secrets - They'd have no choice but to check it out). He would not need any evidence, that's BS.
So don't get caught, and get rid of 2 huge threat's with a few pieces of paper! Easy pie.
