Exactly how that works. Potential is not limited under MC’s circumstances! The mask allows him to function at his best aka 100% His werewolf transformation gives him a semi permanent buff of which he can retain more depending on if he is at his best or not. Like does he use energy to heal himself, or fight?! If not he has a surplus! Same logic applies to people. Assuming we have 1 trained and 1 untrained and they both take drugs to enhance themselves who sees the greater benefit in their performance ?

As far as I understood after some digging the dude gets disowned for betraying the Potters. See even though he is not a Slytherin all his friends are Purebloods albeit pure and weak families. The main Problems are first he is an idiot, and second when his father becomes head of the family. Also his disowning is kinda complicated because why is Creature listening to him if he is no Black!! Doesn’t add up. So I assume he was kicked out to learn his lesson and crawl back to his family. The potters due to having Black blood and being his extended family took him in. Resulting in making the idiot not learn his lesson as intenddd.
