Lord of Mysteries: Heart of Paradox
Two or three chapters a week, possibly more if it gathers enough interest. It will be a decently long book; I want to take time to carefully make it so it fits the original story of Lord of the Mysteries, even feeling like it's part of the same world, affected by the events of it. It will have new and old regions; the main character can be said to be from the Rorsted Archipelago, which, as you know, is bronze-like in skin tone. Unlike the tarot card club, we have our own system to give it the same flavor; instead of cards, we have apostles. As the story goes further, you will know why. As for potions, we will work with them. I'm not sure what I will do with the main character, since he is a little different.
Anyways, if you spot something that can be changed, that doesn't feel right or fit, tell me about it, and I will work on it.

The oppressive smog of Backlund is a constant reminder of the city's industry and decay, but on December 28th, 1349, the Great Smog became a shroud for something far more sinister. For Silas Auden, a youth of unnatural endurance working the docks, this was the night his forgotten past violently returned.
Driven by a harrowing compulsion, Silas endured the fiery agony of a glowing, maggot-like Beyonder creature integrating into his heart. This unintentional act aligned with a massive, forgotten ritual taking place under the smog's cover, forcing Silas through his first chaotic Ritual of Advancement and regaining a haunting fragment of his memory.
With his original identity shattered, its strength fractured into fragments known as core ingredients. These keys are now distributed among other Beyonders, his self-proclaimed Apostles, and to truly ascend, Silas must first find them, then perform a highly dangerous, specific, and often forbidden ritual for each integration, all while trying to avoid the eyes of all the gods.
The first to aid him, calling himself his apostle, is named Arthur, a strange fellow who seems to be from the Church of the Lord of Storms and lets him in on the workings of the world. Arthur reveals the grim truth: "Find the others; they each have a key to your memories."
Now, Silas is forced onto a perilous quest, hunting down those who carry fragments of his former self. He is destined to literally reassemble his soul by meeting or confronting his Apostles, enduring horrifying rituals, and fighting for his sanity against the whispers from the Void.
