he decided to just give the money to the one who wanted to kill him... you can just say a lot of money was thrown into the ditch (Kakuzu didn't do anything important... even accompanying the Raikage should be safe because of the Raikage's word and threats to fly to Kumogakure...). this Chinese guy is an idiot.

I hope they kill Kakuzu upon arriving in Konoha and take his body for study (or capture him alive and give him to Orochimaru or Danzo). he would be stupid if he just got paid... he did almost nothing and earned too much. One could say that Kakuzu was useless here, it's stupid to just give him money, hopefully there was a plan behind these stupid and pointless actions to use him and then take the body.
