Deleted my old review because I couldn't edit it. Now that I've read further the translation did get better. Haven't been jarred out of my immersion because of cruddy translations in a while. Earlier chapters still suck so can only give a 3* in the translation department. Characters all fit a Cultivation trope which is okay but doesn't make it stand out. Average at best. Want the friendly fatty? Check. Condescending nobles? Check. Pretty much what you'd expect from a Cultivation story, sometimes I just want to see normal people. Overall an okay story, nothing outstanding but solid enough to read and enioy.

Average at best. Also the MC is an idiot. In the first 20 chapters the MC literally tells the reader he wouldn't waste his golden finger to benefit others and also wants to keep it a secret but on the literal next paragraph he goes ahead and uses his super secret cheat skill on someone else's dog. It's not contracted but it belongs to someone else. He says he'll just contract it if it comes to it but AGAIN it's NOT his dog. Then instead of once or twice for experimenting, he uses his cheat 5 or 6 times on a beast that's NOT HIS. Oh I'm sure the author will make so there's no consequences but that's not because it makes sense for the story but because of the deus ex machina main character bs the author will just pull out his ass. Still gonna read a bit more hoping the author will learn to write without being stupid but don't have high hopes.

Was okay. The MC was a little stupid and his first beast doesn't seem to listen to him sometimes but at least it was loyal. The minute the MC decided he wanted to have relations with his potential second beast and it started to turn into romance, I lost complete interest. Despise the pokegirl concept and I despise any beast taming story where MC will have sex with his trained pets. Turned into utter garbage.

Feels like a story written by chatgpt. I want to like it more but I can't because of this fake feeling. And webnovel barely gives enough chapters to see if this gets better or not. From what webnovel allows me to read for free, not worth paying money for.

I want to like it but it feels like it's AI generated. The entire first chapter feels mechanical, not a stilted kind of writing style but literally written by a machine. No one talks like in the US. Saying people's full name in conversation, what makes it worse is that it's supposed to be a conversation between family. I'm hoping it's just a bad translation and that the story was written by a Chinese writer pretending to know how things are done in the US.

It's a scam, don't read. It starts off amazing and fun but then around chapter 170 it turns into a Google translate translation and becomes unreadable. There's also no more paragraphs and becomes just one huge paragraph with no breaks. Pretty much just turns into a piece of garbage trying to rip you off and steal your money and time.

Holy Jesus how much did the author pay to get the reviews to 4.9? This is a typical self ejaculating story that isn't even mediocre compared to the other self masterbatory stories out there. Is it the worst I've ever read? No. Is it something I'd ever recommend to anyone? No. But It's bad enough that I stopped reading even though I've caught up to most of the stories I've been keeping up with even though I'm bored as hell right now.

I'm still not sure when they made a bond. I thought he just brought the worm home but never made a contract. Did I just accidentally skip past it while reading?

Makes sense. Water, wood or sunlight. Sunlight power seems like it could make things interesting

Read up to chapter 79. Started off okay but spiraled into garbage pretty fast. Story is bad enough I wanted to warn people not to get tricked by the rating but not bad enough I'd rack my brain to make a long winded review. Read at your own risk.
