It feels like even if I skip 50 chapters and continue from there, I can confidently say that I haven't missed much of the plot and only his cultivation relam has increased.

MC's reaction to this interaction was not penned well. I would have expected him to show more frustration, anger, resentment, and disappointment in humans after that charade the other survivors pulled. He almost seems nonchalant to the hostility displayed.

The author keeps hyping up the MC, but all we have seen so far is him puking blood and squirming under enemies' feet. Hope he gets strong enough to back his big words.

This novel has 'present tense narration', which irks me a lot and throws me off my pace.

The author is like a collector. He is very determined to collect all Xianxia tropes/cliches and insert them in his novel.

From what I have seen so far, the author loves for the MC to win by the skin of his teeth every single time. This does not exite me for the future battles at all because his opponents would only grow stronger, and every time, the same scenario will repeat. It is going to be excruciating to read unless you are a masochist.

Ok, this is getting ridiculous. It seems like a novel catering to masochists.

The quality is degrading chapter by chapter. There are more grammatical mistakes, and the narrative has taken a plunge.
