All those years, she had missed her family and worried about Rachel but she hadn't been lonely because of her friends but especially him after everyone else moved on. Did that mean she was in love with him after all? What was she even supposed to do about that?

This particular day was actually surprisingly nice out. It was one of the rare days in fall in Las Vegas that was in the 70s. Usually, it jumped from 100+ to 90 then down to 60 without warning, skipping over nice weather altogether.
