i just want to say that in a world of various beast taming categories, this book does provide a fresh take to the normal cliche you'll find. are there similarities to other books? yes, it's a given with such a saturated genre. Is it a good book though; well to me it's very enjoyable at least.

An update, the chapter that was problematic is corrected

A good story, a great idea and a relatively stable world and character development. The greatest issue is the guessing game in figuring out who is the character they are talking about. The latest chapters being especially worse than before. a character named Javier appears out of thin air and becomes the main character.

It is a good story with quite a good focus on development. However a particular lack in noun/gender usage for the main character is a bit troubling.
