Old - yea, but feel older. We were together for 30+ yrs. but I wouldn't change it.

There TRULY is nothing like a mothers love for her children. Never forget your mom or get to busy to spend time with her while she is with us. I have already lost my grandmothers, mother and my wife. Make the memories you can share and pass on of happiness not sorrow.

The end of that chapter had me laughing and choking on my drink. Thankfully I didn't get any on my laptop.

Only 14 chapters so far and we are still being introduced to the MC to what makes him, Well "him". Pacing is good, motives are somewhat clear but how can know 'everything' about another even our MC. This leaves things open for amazing, and maybe sometimes, stupid actions instead of a cookie cutter hero/anti-hero type. Give it a read to see if you agree or not.
