This is one of those stories where you have to ask yourself, “why the fk was this b*tch reborn???” If you get a second chance in life and don’t truly live for yourself, just stay dead. Honestly, this FL is just a useless piece of trash. I can see why he treats her that way. It says she normally spends her days reading gossip online and maybe do some shopping. That would be a fking turn off, even for me, especially in an arranged marriage I didn’t even want. No ambitions besides a Grandpa certify gold digger. I mean is this a norm in China?? For women to marry into a well to do or rich family and then just become a useless piece of trash, that does nothing all day and spend husband’s hard earn money ??? I can understand if they had kids and she stayed home, but ’just throwing that out there, since so many novels write their FL living this way.

I feel like 2 different authors wrote this book. The beginning was intriguing and filled with smut scenes between the couple. I thought something interesting would happen when “per the summary” the ex came back and FL would find an excuse to end the contract. Butttttt nooooo, it quickly turned your typical cliche Chinese romance novel. Where a bunch of jealous nobodies, always targets FL, because she took the man they wanted. Always a one sided monologue bitchfest, where the FL barely stands up for herself. And the suppose badass billionaire ML, who controls the city, can’t even out maneuver a bunch of useless spoil girls. 🙄

Girl sounds like she has a screw loose somewhere. Is this her personality thru out the book? Not a fan of these type of FL.
