i know it is late and you probably got the answers from later chapters all ready, bus shuhang's, slow witted song and the "willful wielder of heavens will (spoiler: white) are kinda bundled by karma to high heavens throu song shuhang. who apparently has karma with everything and everyone, and this is the story of his accidentally becoming the wielder of heavens will (temp), while suffering from success all the journey there

current is the ball the first is hinted at being and or is skylark 2. is the eye fascination 3. is striped dragon, 4,5,6 white trading to the guy with the speed shuttle, then either white or another, then current. if we go by in universe info, we know that when the next will appeared, it is the last one in this universe/existence. and a new rebirth of the universe happens and the counter resets. and the current universe ends up like the dragon corpse world, hidden away from what becomes the new m"main" universe. and going by the info and tidbits we have gotten, either white will be the next wielder (as he planned to become wielder again after he looked through time and tossed karma out randomly, and hitt shuhang, or shuhang ends up with the role by accident....
