i mean if we're being honest though the character the flash is typically inconsistent.If he wasn't his abilities would make all his "problems" into light work.Its like when they make a character too OP, the writers need to occasionally "forget" key abilities or boons because if they didn't creating new material for episodes or panels would take too much time to keep schedule.
