If a fanfictions ever taught me anything, it's to always be careful with Dumbles. You don't know his intentions. Probably nobody does. He can be good, evil, super senile, manipulative or completely clueless. His vague answers are pretty questionable too. 'I don't know Harry...' yeah, sure he doesn't. At least he could tell Harry how to destroy Horcruxes. I think it wouldn't kill him. There are more things I could think about but let's stop here. In the books and movies he was a good guy, but here? I don't know so let's stay vigilant.

- bfg20063yrComentado porRonald, the jealous one, Weasley! I already know how I will interact with him. I will simply avoid him. I have nothing, except maybe some unknown disease, to gain from him. My thoughts on him are 'what is he trying to accomplish by becoming friends with Harry?', the only things Harry learned from him about the wizarding world is in summary : Gryffindor is the best house ever, in Slytherin everybody is evil, what is chocolate frog, what is quidditch and that's all. He is constantly doing choices for Harry ( read The Philosophers Stone), isn't loyal to Harry ( read The Goblet of Fire) and then thinks he can abandon him and return whenever he wants ( read The Deathly Hallows)! His work ethic is none existent as are his table manners. I would gladly make him look more like an idiot but then we would be here all day so let's move on.

The question was somewhat redundant because if he was not 'ok', there was nothing she could do about it. Unless she felt the sick need to know when he was feeling sad to make herself feel better about herself. Since Harry knew she was just empathising with him, he said what nearly everyone in his position would.
