It's kind of funny that he thinks he can defeat darkseid, as he is the literally the concept of evil of the multi-verse. Killing him is impossible, as that would be killing the concept of evil itself, which is also impossible. And even if Brainiac killed evil, it would just resurface, meaning Darkseid would be revived. even if he had solutions to all that, then we"re just talking about that universe, which would basically be a flesh-wound as again, he is a multi-dimensional entity. which means he isn't killed. Darkseid could literally destroy the universe by puttting more power there as said universe can't hold that much. What I'm trying to say is that Brainiac did a dum-dum move and just created an eternal problem for himself, probably in multiple dimensions... that he can't get rid off... so yeah. Brainiac is smooth brain.

I don't really have a problem with a non-humanoid get a human form. I got a problem with it becoming his MAIN form however. a dragon (just the most common creature in fantasy with this trope so I used it) should be most comfortable in his dragon body, and use every opportunity it has to stay/get back in that form.
