The police who don't want to be criminal police are not good movie stars -- the workaholic police officer Zhang Jiaming’s hope of being promoted as a criminal police was dashed when he offended Gu Nuo, a privileged young man from a rich family. He resigned in a fit of anger. After losing his job, Zhang Jiaming happened to become an actor and fell in love with the industry. However, his career didn’t take off and he had to keep playing nobodies in different films. Once again, he ran in to Gu Nuo, who’ve already become a popular idol after being released from prison.
