Zombie Apocalypse Survival 101

"Later on last night, New York's own vigilate, Justice, has made headlines all over the country for stumbling onto a, and I quote, 'The biggest conspiracy in the history of mankind'. Apparently, Justice came across a group of criminals whom she followed descreetly leading her to find out about a Syndicate that is planning to take over governments all over the world. Justice.

Stacy switched it off at that point. She rubbed her eyes tiredly as she sank back into her couch, as her own heart raced. What she had come across the previous night had made her realize that she was very much mortal. Since she was young, she was a martial arts prodigy, learning how to fight as easily as it was to learn the alphabets.

Due to this, her parents had forced her to focus more on that path, even allowing her to learn deadly martial arts like Krav Maga all so that she could take back medals and boast later on to their friends. So, she had decided to learn more about weapons and by sixteen, she was the International champion in Bows, Swords, Sabers, Spears and the fastest drawer in gun competitions.

However, at twenty, an opponent had armed a live bullet instead of a rubber on and nearly killed her. The boy came from a long lineage of riches so the judicial system let him off with one year community service as she fought for her life. Luckily, her years of martial arts training saved her life and in six months, she was discharged with a staggering bill to play.

Her parents tried to force her back to tournaments but she refused and moved out. Angry at the way the world revolved, she had become a vigilante. At first, it was all for a noble cause, helping those who were not fortunate enough to help themselves. However, the more scums of Earth she came across, the more her faith in humanity deteriorated until it was all snuffed out when she caught a police officer killing a young lady after raping her.

Since then, she hardly pulled her punches any more. She used viciousness even when subtlety required it till the entire city came to know not to take her lightly. She became a wanted criminal by the police while the unprivileged saw her as their dark night.

For fifteen years, she strolled the streets of New York upholding vigilante justice to those who deserved it. That's what lead her to discovering a group of very smart criminals. She first discovered them due to a bank robbery. The robbers were well organized and coordinated, she took a bullet to the shoulder to make her realize that they were not the normal run of the mill criminals.

So, whenever she encountered such groups, she tended to follow them and learn who they were and how they operate. However, she came to know that the ring leader was a council man whose campaign speech was how he would shower hellfire to all the city's gangs. Tapping his phone in order to learn more made her discover a larger conspiracy that lead all the way to Senators and the White House Spokesperson.

Apparently, they made a gang made up of ex CIA or military personnel in order to bring the crime rate of the entire country to an all time high. So, when the rate were to a certain point, they would swoop in and 'miraculously' bring down gangs after gangs and bring their own public rates up. With those rates, they could go for higher jobs and ones with highest authority and then take over the government of the United States of America!

The first time she learnt of this she was shell shocked. This was a spy movie type shit and the ball landed to her court. So, she continued gathering evidence for two years till she finally got enough to actually cripple the country. She knew she was going to do more harm to country than good but her life was forfeit any way. No way did she think she would hide long enough from the full power of the FBI or the CIA. So, if she was going to die, she would die with purpose. She leaked all the documents in the Dark Web and from there, the whole country went into shock.

"It's been an interesting life," she said to herself as she took a cyanide pill and popped it into her mouth. If she was going to die any way, she would die her way. Crushing it, she felt the bitterness touch her tongue and two seconds later, her heart went into cardiac arrest. She died with a peaceful smile on her face, wearing her Justice suit.

Stacy groaned in annoyance as she saw a bright light burning through her eyelids, forcing her to cover them. However, she realized she was supposed to be dead, no way that pill would have failed to do it's job. The Dark Web is a place where one can expect quality when it comes to items of killing. It often is because the sellers have pride in their work and won't let cheap gimmicks drag their work to mud. When a knockoff appears in there, you can be assured the original owner will hunt you down with a vengeance.

'The pill works, that's for sure. So, why exactly am I here, alive?' she asked herself as she opened her eyes. What she was expecting did not come close to what she was currently seeing. For an infinite distance, all she could see was an expanse of white! She swiftly sprang to her feet and looked behind her only to realize it was the same thing!

"Is this the afterlife?" she asked herself in wonder.

"It is not," a deep and magnetic voice said from behind her, scaring the living lights out of her. Like a startled cat, she jumped with a turn, as she prepared for a fight to the death. She was the speaker and was slightly mesmerized. He was a caucasian man about 7'3 in height, wearing the most comfortable looking white robes she had ever seen and a luscious blonde hair on his head waved in the windless atmosphere, making the man look cool!

"Who are you?" Stacy asked, still wary. She was very confident with her martial arts training, no way this man could have appeared behind her without her hearing. It means this man was very much abnormal, taking in the fact that he was in this infinite space of nothingness with her dead self.

"My name is not one you could comprehend, Stacy Waters. You are here in the space between real and unreal because you interest me. You managed to weaken a super power country so much they almost reverted to a second world country trying to save it. Due to your actions, you brought to light a conspiracy that would have caused the deaths of millions of innocents and for that, you have earned yourself my favor. A clean slate for you with five wishes of your own descreetion and after that, a brand new life for you. How does that sound?"
