Rare Meetings
Nathaniel sat behind his office table, looking regal and elegant as he normally did when he would work at the head office and meet with his highest-ranked employees.
Everything about him demanded respect, rumors of his ruthlessness and dominance had often made lower-ranked employees fear meeting with him. Many even made every possible excuse just to avoid a meeting with him.
Today's meeting, however, was the total opposite of that.
The President and CEO of DLR Enterprises had been residing in Arlington for months and it was the first time that he was having an intimate meeting with his top-ranked executives.
Of course, the timing couldn't be better for the Syndicate.
