Chapter 3

The Following Morning…..

"Urrghh…." Yun Xie got up, sighing. After eating dinner yesterday, he returned to the inn and took a small break, before going to sleep.

Yun Xie accidentally left the window open so it was sort of cold.

Looking out, clouds covered the whole sky and fog stretched over the landscape.

Stretching a little, he put on some clothes, and jumped out the window….

The inn had three floors, Yun Xie lived on the third floor, so it was quite the drop. Smiling, he whispered.

"Geppo." Yun Xie shot through the air, his feet kicking out speedily, shooting through the air.

The early morning breeze blew by, ruffling his hair. Yun Xie sped above the city, not forgetting to use "In" to prevent anyone from sensing him.

Just running on air above the city had a certain charm to it. Even though this was just a small merchant city, Xiainxia cities were truly beautiful. Leaping Rock City was located in a patch of mountains, making different levels of buildings and such. The architecture was wondrous, towering, and huge, though not on the level of a skyscraper.

Huge wooden towers were brightly painted in a vivid red, majestic buildings were laid around, covered in gold and silver, it was clear that this was a prosperous city.

The streets below were many, winding and strewn about, with two main roads that most people used.

These roads were, the Northern Gate Road, and Merchants Cobble Path….

As he went on his morning stroll, Yun Xie hummed a tune, while scrolling through his "archive".

There were countless abilities that existed in the world of anime and manga. Yun Xie only knew a few, more known ones, and some other abilities he thought were cool.

Realizing how many abilities he did not know of, Yun Xie racked his brain for a solution, before remembering that he could use Nen. Well, he could just use Alluka's ability, but that would be sort of lame, so…

After at least one month, he managed to create a Hatsu.

His ability, [Bypass] came in handy…. [Reference] was pretty overpowered, he could just completely ignore the prerequisites of Nen and get to creating a Hatsu immediately.

His special Nen Hatsu was [Archive].

It was an ability that allowed him to conjure up a mind palace, filled with every single known anime/manga ability in existence, along with many other things….

Yun Xie could spend hours just looking through the many versatile abilities and such.

A practically endless amount of abilities bred forth so many ideas and combinations he could use to stylishly and creatively beat someone up…. Among other things.

After speeding above the city for a while, Yun Xie decided that dumplings would do for breakfast…

A Few Minutes Later…..

Yun Xie walked away from the store, chewing on a nice warm dumpling. The filling consisted of braised pork and a little lettuce, which somehow existed in this world.

Sitting down on the roof of a building, Yun Xie looked out, soon, the Dark Crow would fly across the land, and then, life would become more exciting….

Well, that would be another day, as for now, Yun Xie needed some money for living expenses, so off to a nearby bandit base, he goes…

"Shunpo!" He flickered out of sight, and into the outside world.

Combining this with Geppo, Yun Xie shot through the air, with the only hindrance being the wind. It was a wonderful feeling, to just dash above the trees, birds tweeting both above and below.

"Shunshin No Jutsu!" Yun Xie picked up even more speed and soon came to a stop, a few thousand miles away from the city.

Near the Cleansing Incense Ancient Sect….

Yun Xie came to a stop at a small stream to wipe his face. A pretty prosperous bandit camp lay only over the hill in front of him.

He did not know what their names were, or whatever "Mountain tiger or lion" group or whatever they were called. All he wanted was some money….

On the other side…..

"Brother Ye! We made a lot today off those foolish merchants!" A burly man shouted, chugging down some booze while laughing.

Another burly man, who had a wild black beard and two squinted eyes shook his hammer and smiled.

"Aaaah!" Suddenly, a random bandit was sent flying, his head cut off. Yun Xie walked into view, his blade gleaming with blood.

"Do you want to dance….?" He smiled wickedly.
