A month later Yang Rai had reached a level within the Qi Fusion Realm which he could no longer hold back the need for ascension. His promotion was not an easy one to accomplish for him. The difference is in the change of Qi into true Qi. However due to his unique cultivation method it required more Qi to transform than before. So to accommodate this his Qi spontaneously changed during the baptism. And became a new True Foundation realm cultivator. This was the first time He realized that needing to Change Qi is massively important. A lesson he learned the hardest way. The baptism was as if a Saint went to the Saint King Realm. That was why it was so dangerous for him and why he luckily survived.

The remainder of the next year Yang Rai grew accustomed to his new found strength. He learned how to fly and utilize massively stronger techniques. The progress was astounding. Shortly after turning 12 Yang Rai Became a Nascent soul Realm Cultivator. His Knowledge sea formed and his soul began to develop. With the strength he now had at his disposal he went out on a journey through the Shadowed Star. Yang Rai knew it would be something he needed to do eventually and now was as good a time as any.

After having said his goodbyes Yang Rai departed in search of opportunities and experience. Something all cultivators need to experience. The unfortunate thing for him was that Yang Kai had pretty much taken all the good opportunities previously. Still Yang Rai wandered the star. He hid his identity quite well and was able to see the world through a new light. Over the journey he discovered an abandoned resource mine. It felt like it was calling to him.

Yang Rai explored the ruined mine mostly following the presence of something. It was rare and faint but resonated with him deeply. There were no hidden arrays or dangers even all the way to the end of the cave. There were however many small size materials and a note. "To the one who finds these they are fated for you. I myself could not comprehend their power. Fearing their might I hid them away from the light. Use them as you see fit. Prepare for the forces of the outer universe."

After reading this message left behind by some master Yang Rai could only question what it was about and what it meant. Instead of pondering too much he searched around and found some seeds. Rai studied these seeds for months but could not grasp their uses. Instead he put them away and moved his focus to the compressed resource beads. "There is a hint of power within all of these. Lay them in proper sequence and something good will happen." The Divine body spoke to Yang Rai. So he followed the order and placed the five elements and 2 forces in a formation representing the 9 foundations.

Yang Rai began cultivating in the center of this formation. His realm was quickly empowered over the several months reaching the peak of the 3rd Stage Nascent Soul Realm. "What is this? Some kind of bottleneck? No, let's absorb these materials in the formation into my knowledge sea." Yang Rai began the process of absorbing the formation. It took him a week to accomplish this task but it was successful. A glyph appeared in his knowledge sea that seemed to both nurture his soul and generate Qi. It was an odd feeling for him. This Qi was not True Qi but something else.
