A debt to payback to a friend

Few years back...

The walls of detention was a hell place for teenagers whose crime were severe enough to serve time in a real prison.

Yet, due to the offender's age as a minor, they were kept in detention to undergo a series of training, to transform their once awful character into an exemplary one, and shape their future for a better tomorrow.

Within these walls, was a high school boy who was arrested on his final day as a teenager, the happiest day of any teenager's life...

It was a day to mark an end to a bubbling and exciting high school time in any student's life.

Yet, it seemed it became the most dreadful day for our newly recruited in detention custody...Sam Wilby.

As a teenager, Sam was tall and lean yet a bit muscular, with his unique facial features of brown eyes and black-turned-blond hair, which could categorize him as a handsome yet cute-looking guy.

However, due to the incident that took a huge turn in his past, beyond more than a teenager could handle, the turn of events turn him helplessly depressed.

He was being held in custody for an attempted theft while armed... Illegal possession of arms.

Sam Wilby thought his life was over until he met the guy whom he attempted to rob.

That guy paid him an untimely visit in detention and introduced himself....as Jason Taylor.

Jason appeared before Sam like a guardian angel, yet a dubious plot in the background.

However, he admired Sam's temerity to rob him, so he gladly helped him go scot-free, and Sam became indebted to him.

Sam Wilby saw Jason as his savior from his starving wretched life along with his kid sister, so Jason also took him under his wing as his lapdog, and they have been inseparable since.

Back to the present...

Jason's restraining order against Rhea was merely valid for three years until renewal. So he then decided to secure a long-term plan to get back at Rhea since he couldn't stay completely away from her, as well as his strong obsession to avenge her.

During that time, Jason and Sam were now intimate friends, until Jason demanded an undesirable favor from Sam that he couldn't refuse.

All thanks to the debt Jason owed Sam for saving him in the past.

This was a promise Sam made to pay back what Jason did for him, since he formally had no connections to get his ass out of detention, which Jason easily did without any stress.

Meanwhile, Sam was simply so grateful to the point that he would do anything Jason asked of him.

Because, at that point in his life, Jason didn't only save him, he also saved Sam's sick sister whom he needed money to get treated in the hospital.

Moreover, Sam's sister would have died alone in their abandoned home while he was rotting away in detention if Jason hadn't freed him at that time, and Jason even went further to help him get his sister treated until recovery.

Jason took advantage of Sam's earnest actions to please him, and that was why he decided to give Sam a chance to pay back his debt in full, once and for all.

"Sam...I have a last favor to ask you. Once you do that, I would consider all debts cleared." Jason met with Sam a month after he was exempted from all the charges the Sanders sisters accused him of.

"Anything Jason, you only have to mention it and it's done!" This was Sam's confident reply.

Meanwhile, Jason ushered Sam into his car and drove towards the hospital where Rhea was currently undergoing therapy.

Rhea had been emotionally broken since the incident that occurred over the years, and all she went through at the hands of Jason.

Although, it seem Jason was still stalking her, since he knew exactly where to find her and what time she was there.

As Sam waited in the car with Jason, he became curious about what kind of favor Jason would ask him to do, which would clear him of all his debts for good.

Even though Sam was hoping it wouldn't be murder, and as long as it wasn't that, he realized he was prepared to do anything but that.

Jason was the only friend who helped Sam and brought him out of his struggles, when his parents were suddenly killed and he was left alone with his fifteen-year-old sister on the run from his parent's murderers.

Although Sam was only a teenager, he took the responsibility upon his young shoulders to take care of himself and his little sister. Until he met Jason Taylor who became like a heavenly blessing in his life...and who also seemed to have strong connections.

Jason even saved Sam and his sister from the threats of their murderer. He stopped their impending death with just a single phone call.

It became an action that impressed Sam, so much that he began to hero-worshiped Jason ever since.

Meanwhile, almost thirty minutes passed and Jason and Sam were still waiting in front of the hospital...Therefore, in order to pass time and ease the suspenseful moment in their long wait, Jason proposed a game.

He introduced the 'Truth and Dare' game to Sam.

However, a clueless Sam quickly chose a 'Dare' without a second thought. Jason turned exactly that moment and spotted what he came looking for a while now.

Rhea came out of her therapy center with her sister Kristine who always escorted her for her sessions.

Suddenly, Jason called Sam's attention to them.

"Well, your Dare is to pursue and date that red-haired girl for three years, until further notice... But note this, during the entire three years, you are allowed to do anything with her but never get laid... I mean never, ever sleep with her. She is mine and will always be." Jason fiercely warned Sam as he pointed at the two girls walking toward their car.

Rhea Sanders was a red-haired girl with a pretty silver-blue set of eyes, an amazing height, a slender figure, and quite beautiful too, even though she looked disheveled since she started receiving therapy.

Nevertheless, Rhea's good looks and unique features wouldn't compare to her gorgeous brunette elder sister...Kristine.

Kristine was a drop-dead gorgeous beauty, with a bewitching set of blue eyes, and straight yet cute pointed nose, and fully seductive lips which added to her undeniable attraction.

This gorgeous looks of Kristine made her high school times the craziest, with boys trying to make an impression on her as their number one girl-to-date on their lists, on campus. Which continued until college.

Yet, none of them met Kristine's credentials for a date until she met the famous basketball legend...Caleb Donnells.

Well, that's a story for another time. For now, back to our topic.

After Sam heard what Jason requested of him, he looked closely at Rhea and recognized her as Jason's girlfriend since high school.

Sam remembered he saved Rhea that night on their Prom day when he figured out Jason's evil intentions with his friends.

As a stalker in Jason's life for months, even before he and Jason met, for reasons known to himself, Sam knew about the bet Jason and his friends placed on Rhea's head to see how long she would last until she fell trapped in Jason's charms.

Even though Sam became quite impressed about how Rhea held herself and disappointed Jason and his friends.

Rhea became the first girl to make Jason lose that bet, after doing the same thing to countless girls who gave in to him within a week.

Rhea kept her dignity from giving into Jason's lust for more than three months after they started dating, so Sam felt the need to save Rhea when he later found out about Jason's plan on their Prom night.

Sam lured Jason out of the room when he sent him a strange text to inform him his room had a secret camera, and he went on to threaten Jason that he will play the video for everyone at the party to see.

Only Sam knew why Jason left the room and returned to the party immediately after entering with Rhea, it was to find out who amongst his two friends sent that text, since nobody knew but the three of them.

But something happened and Jason seemed to take his anger out on Kyle by punching him, which Sam noticed in a distance.

After Jason left for a drive that night, Sam tailed behind him on a motorcycle. But after merely a five minutes drive, Jason U-turned to return to the party.

In order to save Rhea once more from Jason's intentions, Sam realized he had to do something to stop Jason from getting back to the party and continue the plot he planned for Rhea somehow, so he had to interfere and wrecked Jason's car tyre.

Unfortunately, Jason's car went out of control and nearly run over a dog, even though he swerved at the last minute and hit his car hard on the pavement, and he lost consciousness.

Sam left the scene after calling an ambulance for Jason. Even though he later found out Jason and Rhea were admitted in the same hospital that night after Rhea's sister found Rhea in Jason's booked room.

Nevertheless, to be on the good side of Jason and win his absolute trust, all Sam did was nod his head in approval when Jason told him his request. He was very confident he could pull it through without any hitch.

Although Sam didn't have to know the reason for Jason's request, that's how much he hero-worshiped Jason, or maybe, winning Jason's absolute trust came first.

"Consider it done... three years is a long time, I would have her at the tip of my fingers in seconds." Sam uttered with confidence.

"I like that...you seem confident with your looks, but I doubt Rhea would be an easy prey though, but better still, Good luck!." Jason then pointed to Kristine with disgust.

"You see the girl next to her? Well, she is a very hard nut to crack, and it wouldn't be an easy job as long as that brunette sister of hers doesn't suspect you or see us together. Or else, it will be over before it even gets started." Jason continued to give Sam tips on how he would succeed.

"That girl is way over-protective of Rhea. Therefore, once you embark on this mission, no meetings, only calls. To keep me updated on all your progress. I don't want to risk that demonic sister spotting us together and raise her defensive claws, thereby ruining my chances of you getting Rhea." Jason added, as he drove away from the therapy center after accomplishing his aim.

So, in order to give Sam what he called a 'fair trial', Jason introduced 'The truth or Dare game' to play together with Sam, and he caught Sam exactly where he wanted him when Sam chose 'Dare'.

All these were Jason's perfectly laid-out plans for the future, until his restraining order expires.

He simply couldn't stand to see Rhea moving on with her life in the near future with some other freak as her boyfriend, so he shut that chapter in Rhea's life with Sam instead.

However, it wasn't as easy as Sam thought before, when he began loitering around Rhea to begin his mission.

During that time, Rhea just came out of her doom relationship with Jason and was overcoming her tragedy through therapies.

With Kristine's assistance, Rhea soon developed her focus to also aimed her full concentration on her college education to fulfill her dream.

Nevertheless, Sam never gave up and pestered Rhea over his 'Dare game'. He continued to bother Rhea with his fake love and fruitless proposals until Rhea gave in to him.

After months of Sam's fake love determination, Rhea became convinced when she noticed all Sam's efforts went towards the sincerity of his feelings, and how he never gave up. And she also figured out how kind and pleasant Sam was, compared to her ex.

Hence, these were the reasons Rhea saw and agreed to date him, so she could move on with her life instead of getting stuck in the past after just one love failure.

Meanwhile, Sam didn't miss a strong warning from Rhea's dad...Steven Sanders, to take care of his daughter and never hurt her, or else...

So unfortunately for Sam, he had already fallen prey to another one of Jason's plots against Rhea, at the consequences of facing Rhea's military undercover dad's threats for his little girl.

So, was Sam together in this with Jason, or was it all Jason's plan all along??...

Finally, Jason's extreme patience he exerted over the last three years became fruitful.

With his wish granted, plans successful, and target on sight, exactly where he wanted Rhea all these years...alone, distressed, and scared of him.

Even though Jason aimed to get her back, he realized it wouldn't be possible now, Rhea would only go back and renew the restraining order to keep him away from her once more.

So all he had now was this opportunity, his long-awaited time from a genius long-term plan, which had indeed paid off in the end.

Finally, he had Rhea now, all to himself to do whatever he wanted...with no evidence, no case, and even threaten her into silence of never telling anyone, including her meddling so-called sister of hers.

And this was how Jason planned his second attempt as an endless thorn in Rhea's life.

"You are trapped, Rhea...There's nowhere else to run!" Jason's icy voice roared to the scared girl, hiding not far from where he stood.

He menacingly took steps to approach her, to avoid risking her second attempt to escape him once more.

Jason blocked all the roots of escape, as the tone of his cold voice sent shivers down Rhea's heart.

If only she knew beforehand that this would happen to her. Why was it always her, who regretted after acting on her decisions, to even attempt to consider attending a party hosted by her ex. she had no one to blame but herself...

If not for Sam's insistence to be his date, a person she thought she was safe with and bravely confronted her worse nightmares.

"I told you I would come back...you thought a simple restraining order, was big enough to hold me away for all eternity? Well no! here I am! and like I told you...If not me, then it's no one else...You will be stuck with me forever...

Meanwhile, Rhea ran passed him while he was talking, and she nearly knocked him down to escape through the door where she and Sam entered from in the first place.....into the warehouse.

In her desperate haste to hide properly after her escape towards the woods, and not risk getting caught, Rhea mistakenly tweaked a branch underneath her feet from where she stood. She held her hand to her mouth to muffle her whimpers, as the branch pierced through her barefooted foot.

But unfortunately, even the sound from the branch contributed to exposing her hiding spot, and her whimpers of pain weren't muffled as she expected, which alerted the silent approaches of her tormentor.

Jason plastered one of his deadly smirks, whilst Rhea trembled in fear, and a scream escaped her throat when Jason surprisingly roared to scare her from where he spotted her hiding.

Rhea ignored the pain underneath her foot to make a run for it and escape her tormentor once more, she was limping on one foot, as she hastily took another direction to hide away from Jason.

Meanwhile, Jason was amused at how Rhea still chose to never give up and willingly surrender to him....after all they had been through together in the past. Jason was surprised Rhea took a drastic change toward her newly-found perfect life, merely three years of their break up, after she condemned him to a life in hell without her.

Jason followed behind a limping Rhea, who couldn't go far because of her hurt foot.

"Someone once told me, craziness was doing the same thing over and over again, and still expecting a different result." Jason humouredly called out behind her, he didn't have to stress his efforts to catch up with her...she was within his sight.

Just a few trees ahead and he could catch Rhea in mainly a few treads of his feet.

However, Jason simply wanted to torment her, stalling time with her, to maximize his terrorizing game and traumatized her even more.

He wanted to instill the fear of him, deep into Rhea's heart, so she would remember him her entire life.

"You still don't learn from your mistakes right? Why would you hide from me?.. Jason uttered, as he walked to reach her.

"Sam...Sam..where are you?" Rhea screamed at the top of her lungs, looking for her boyfriend..Sam Wilby.

She came to this party because of him. If not for Sam, she wouldn't even want to breathe the same air as this bully. Her worse mistake so far was Jason.

Why wouldn't he just let her be? She had moved past the crazy senseless love she once had for him...since high school.

"What did you do to Sam? He was with me a while ago...where did you take him! please!" Rhea pleaded with Jason about her boyfriend.

And that was when Jason hysterically roared with amused laughter, about how worried she was about the guy who, upon his order, brought her into his clutches in the first place.

But Rhea doesn't know that yet!

Better still, he needed to torment her more, before he confesses to her about how she fell prey to another one of his schemes by dating Sam, who approached her too, simply based on a Dare from him.

He can't wait to see the look on Rhea's face once she finds out about it.
