Nine Mortal Levels

On the first day, Mikhail still did not believe what grimoire said but after three days, he forced to believe it by reality.

On the second day, many tree roots chasing after Mikhail and according to grimoire that are the roots of bloodsucker tree. The sheer number of tree roots making Mikhail run away in horror.

On the third day, Mikhail is nearly get killed by the ambush of two brown foxes as big as a bear. Luckily, with grimoire's warning, Mikhail successfully evade it. However, defeating them is another story.

"Sh*t!!!" What is this d*mn fox is? They are strong!" Mikhail complained while dodging another attack. These two brown foxes are totally unified, one attacking from the front and another attacking from behind. Luckily, Mikhail shadow sword's mastery is already quite high if not he would already have been killed by this two foxes relentless attack.

WOOD FOX

Description: Normal level origin beast always attacking others in a group. The number of foxes in a group is varying but the minimum number is 2.

"What useless information! What I want is whatever their weakness or what their fear!" Mikhail wanted to try attacking but let alone attacking, the barraged attack from his front and behind almost leaving him with no time to breath.

Wood fox weakness is origin flame. Not ordinary flame but the one ignited using origin energy. Since master still cannot use origin energy so it is impossible to use it.

Mikhail nearly stumbled when he read grimoire message then he used his old trick to hold shadow sword firmly, instantly changed its form into two meters staff, and using its propelling force to instantly retreat a few meters away.

Of course, the two wood foxes will not let Mikhail go that easily and quickly catch up to him but this time Mikhail already prepared. Mikhail quickly changed his shadow sword into a spear for and thrush it toward one of the wood foxes. The wood fox is quite fast and dodged it easily but the tip of Mikhail's shadow spear instantly curved them pierce one of wood fox's abdomen and killed it instantly.

The other wood fox tried to run away when it saw Mikhail kills his friend but how could Mikhail let it go. Mikhail quickly throwing the shadow spear toward the fleeing wood fox and after getting close the shadow spear quickly changed into a net then confined the fleeing wood fox. Like how he killed the giant werewolf or demonic werewolf, the net quickly changed into a straitjacket full of sharp spikes then the shadow sword shrinking back into a ring turned the wood fox into a shredding meat.

"FUUUUUUHHH... Is it a boss? How could that monsters be so hard to deal with? That wood foxes totally in different level with sewer rat!" Mikhail sitting on the ground exhausted while complaining to Grimoire.

*TING*

No, it is only a normal monster. The sewer rat is only in locust level so it is normal for Master to defeat it easily.

"What is normal level and locust level? Then boss level is lower or higher than normal level?" Mikhail asked grimoire in puzzlement.

*TING*

Sigh...these level classifications called the nine mortal levels. Then I will explain it from the bottom to the top level. Listen to it carefully since it is a very basic knowledge!

Locust level beasts are the lowest level in nine mortal levels but do not take them lightly because usually locust level is a part of the bigger community with the leader is minimum commander above and usually, their role is to scout or searching for foods for their leader.

Normal level or novice level is usually roaming around in the forest and mountain like a normal beast. Sometimes they hunting in a small group to easily take down their target.

Boss level is basically a predator in the food chain and unlike the normal level, this boss level already started to build their own nest and started to multiply.

Commander level is a leader of an army of locust level. When a boss level is successfully multiplied, their child will become locust level and each time the locust level devour something or get some energy, their power will be transferred to their leader so their leader's boss level will shoot up to commander level. Usually, commander level stays in their nest and won't move unless there is some threat coming to attacking their nest.

After that, there are captain level, admiral level, general level, hero level, and lastly emperor level.

Since this level is already far beyond master's strength I will not waste my breath to explain it for now.

"SHHH*TTT!!! SO COMPLICATED! I thought I already an OP main character because I defeat the boss level but it looks like I still playing in beginner village!" Mikhail slapped his forehead in frustration.

*TING*

It is only nine mortal levels and above that, there are still seven immortal classes!

"Why in hurry? It's not like we have a time limit or something is chasing us." Mikhail answered nonchalantly.
