Chapter 14

"You sit here!"

A girl who is only ten years old is being yelled at by a woman who carries a baby boy. The woman's eyes were full of hatred and disgust to the girl when she sees her sitting on the chair which supposedly her sits. She points at the chair at the opposite while using a hard tone to the young girl, instructs her to move from her current sit to the one that she pointed at.

With her head lower, the young girl walks slowly to the opposite where her stepmother currently stood, as expected, her head was hit by the woman before the woman pull her hair to drag her to sit on the chair. It's been more than three years since she had been treated like that, however, this is the first time she is not allowed to sit on the chair that was previously hers.

Today, her father will be working out from the town, since her father decided to take the inheritance of the company, he had been busy with all of those works which make the young girl being left in the house with the stepmother. The more busy her father is, the more the young girl knows the true color of her stepmother. When there is her father around, the stepmother will try to show how good she is to her, but the moment her father walks out of the house, her stepmother started to treat her badly.

Although she never knew what her wrong at that time, she still obeys all her stepmother words since her meal will be depending on her stepmother's mood, and only by obeying her stepmother, the young girl can make her stepmother feel satisfied, thus her stepmother will instruct the maids to cook extra meal includes her portion.

At the corner of the house, there is a young girl who crying seeing the scenes. The girl keeps on yelling to the small girl who apparently will face something terrible from the older woman who is the small girl's stepmother. Unable to move her feet, the young girl keeps o yelling to the small girl so she can run into her room, but no matter how loud she is, the small girl still sits on the chair. The older woman who carrying her son smile evilly watching the small girl, instructing the maids to bring a bowl of soup out from the kitchen.

The young girl keeps on screaming at the corner while grabbing her hair yelling at the small girl, the stress and panic appear in the young girl's eyes making her pupils grow larger. The young girl keeps on crying hysterically but only to witness how the old woman pushes the small girl's head into the bowl that carries a hot soup. The dining room is full of the small girl yelling voice, the boy that the older woman carries also cry loudly after heard the yelling voice.

Pulling the small girl's hair, the older woman laughs cheekily, expecting the young girl to have regained her oxygen, the older woman pushes the small girl's head again into the bowl, but compared to the first time, the second time took a short of seconds. The small girl keeps on crying with her face flush with a minor burn, but to the ten years old kid, the minor burn also can cause a skin trauma which might cause the tissues under the small girl's skin to damage.

The young girl screams hysterically at the corner, crying to her heart content, she curses the older woman for the inhuman actions. After a series of yelling and cursing the scenes in front of the young girl change again.

If the previous scenes showcase the young girl about the torture from the older woman, then the current scenes showcase how the small girl that is still ten years old is being bullied by the new maids. The scenes happened after one month from the soup accidents, although the small girl's stepmother give a medicine, the small girl's face still can run from having a scar resulting from the skin trauma. The scar formed on her forehead because of the pressure from the stepmother.

The maid who is responsible for bringing the meals to the small kids finally enters the room. Sitting beside the windows, the small girl who watches outside lowers her head after listening to the open door. The young girl who sits in front of the small girl watches the maid in horror. Never she had thought that the scene will be this, with a frightened look, the young girl warns the small girl. Seeing the small girl didn't react, the young girl stands up from the window and yelling at the maid.

"Get out! You get out!!"

"No! Don't! Anna, run! run to the bathroom, now!! No!!"

The young girl tries her best to stop the scenes. The closer the maid is, the louder the young girl screams. The new maid suddenly stops three feet from the small girl, with a snickering smile, the maid asks the small girl whether she is hungry or not.

"Hungry."

With a small voice, the small girl answers the maid's question, the young girl started to cry even louder while yelling no to the small girl. The pain that the young girl feels still linger which makes her act like a mad girl at the side of the street.

"Good, then here's your food, make sure you finish everything."

Finishing her line, the maid pours the meal on the floor, the young girl who stands at the window curses the maid loudly. Tears running down on the small girl's cheeks, going down from her sits, the small girl watch her meal on the floor, the maid who feels satisfied with her action can't help from laughing at the small girl's misfortune before walking out with the tray to the kitchen resuming her other work in the house.

Crunching down on the floor, the young girl keeps on crying watching the small girl scoop up some of the porridge on the floor into her small mouth. The small girl sits on the floor while crying, suddenly the small girl stares at the young girl. The pair of dark eyes keep on staring at the young girl as the small girl can really see the young girl who currently sitting beside her.

The room suddenly turns dark, but the small girl's eyes keep on staring into the young girl's eyes without being affecting by her surroundings. The door and the windows disappear in a blink of an eye making the young girl panic. Looking at her surrounding, the young girl changes her vision back to the small girl. However, the small girl already sits in front of her with their nose touch together.

"This is you, and you are me."

The small girl smile at the young girl after saying those words. Feeling puzzled, the young girl keeps on staring inside the small girl's eyes while keeping on pounder at the small girl's words. The words seem a bit misleading because Anna knows that the small girl was her, and she is recalling all her childhood time remembering all her stepmother's tortured while she was still a kid.
