Most Precious Treasure

Xiu Mei has to attend a meeting at 3:00 p.m. It was a video conference call, so after lunch, she went back to her lab and sat down in front of a huge screen.

In the conference room, Mr. X was seated at the head position presiding the meeting, surrounded by higher-ups and important investors of phoenix enterprises.

Although Xiu Mei was not present, she paid attention to everything from the hidden camera on the wall behind Mr. X.

To facilitate her to hear each and every conversation clearly, powerful bugs were installed beneath the table. The bugs were made by Xiu Mei personally. Only Mr. X and CEO Fei Zing were aware of this setup.

Mr. X is the president of Phoenix enterprises while Fie Zing is the CEO.

CEO Fei Zing has become the face of the company since Mr. X lives a mysterious life and avoid making a public appearance.

Mr. X can hear Xiu Mei through the wireless ear pod in his ear.

Xiu Mei is not a part of higher-ups, but she is the supporting pillar of the company. Without her, the entire company will crumble down in a few years. If it was not for her innovative software and designs, the company won't be able to achieve huge success in such a short span of time.

It was a well-kept secret that she not only develops software for the company but is also the chief designer behind the innovative machines that the company manufactures. The recent satellite that Phoenix Enterprises has sold to the government was designed by her.

Xiu Mei is the most precious treasure of the company. She can also be said to be the best-kept secret of Phoenix Enterprises. To the outside world and within the company, she is just a brilliant employee working from home, whereas in reality the entire Phoenix Enterprises is surviving and thriving on her extraordinary talent.

But Xiu Mei has no intention to disclose her identity; she does not want to put her missions at any risk. These missions are her life's only goal and she wants to achieve them at every cost.

Throughout the meeting, Xiu Mei was in direct contact with Mr. X, giving him some important points to discuss.

Finally, the meeting got over after 6 hours. Xiu Mei was very tired, her eyes were drooped. Before going out for dinner, she lounged on the sofa to take 10 minutes rest, but she ended up sleeping the entire night.

At the dinner time, Feng Jianyu and Feng Junjie came to the dinner table.

"Where is Sister Mei Mei?", Feng Junjie looked around and said.

Upon not finding her, he beckoned Butler Tom, "Uncle Tom go and call Sister Mei Mei."

Hearing this Butler Tom remembered that in the afternoon Xiu Mei had told him about the important meeting at 3:00 that might go on for long. So she won't be able to join everyone for dinner and to keep the food for her in the fridge.

Stepping forward Butler Tom replied politely, "Master, young Miss is in a meeting. She won't be able to come for dinner tonight… I am sorry."

"Oh! When will she come back?", Feng Junjie asked out of curiosity thinking she went out.

"Young Miss didn't go out. She is in her room attending the meeting on T.V."

"Oh! You mean a video conference… Alright", Feng Junjie calmly replied.

On the other hand Fing Jianyu was not interested in any of this; he was calmly eating his dinner.

Next day Xiu Mei did not return for breakfast, too.

Feng Junjie was eating breakfast pulling a long face. He always hates eating alone, and the presence of his big brother was equal to being absent only.

"I am not coming back tonight if Sister Mei Mei is not joining me at the table", Feng Junjie said sullenly. "This food is boring without her."

…. Silence… No reply.....

"I am missing Sister Mei Mei"

…. No Reply…

"Brother you are no fun to talk"

...S.I.L.E.N.C.E….

"Fine! I am going from here… I am going to country M for a week."

....SILENCE…..

Feng Junjie "...."

"Brother? How can you not say anything? Your precious brother is leaving this country"Feng Junjie started acting like a spoiled baby. "I am so lonely… Nobody loves me…", 

"Good idea. Go and check what's delaying our project in Country M. Don't come back until you solve the matter completely." Feng Jianyu replied and did not pay any attention to his brother's fake tantrums.

Feng Junjie "...." 'Seriously? Am I even your brother?'

"Fine… I am leaving…", Feng Junjie got up, picked his bag and started walking out.

"All The Best", Feng Jianyu said to his brother without looking at him.

Feng Junjie stopped in his tracks, turns sideways to look at him and replied with a smile, "Thanks, brother. I won't disappoint you."

Feng Jianyu nodded his head and did not say anything. He has full trust in his brother's capabilities.

Although Feng Jianyu was not going to the company due to his injury, this does not mean he was not aware of anything. He already knows the problem they are facing in Country M and that's why Feng Junjie will be leaving tonight in his private plane to solve it personally.
