No Proof

The kids seemed happy at the end of the day when Claire and Alex finally dropped them off and that was what mattered. They made plans to meet up again the following Sunday to go to a nearby zoo and see the seasonal winter animals exhibit and make some more cookies. 

The rest of the night was spent reading (Claire) and studying (Alex) in companionable silence. She went to bed feeling that her weekend had gotten off to a good start. 

The next morning she lounged around the house watching cheesy Hallmark holiday romances while he went to a couple of back-to-back job interviews using her car. He was still transitioning between identities at this point so he was using his John Sei driver's license in case he got pulled over because it was the only one he had.
